Well worth the detour! On June 18, my spouse and I traveled to Ottawa for a performance. The TripAdvisor recommendations were a major factor in our decision to stop and enjoy breakfast at Wilf’s & Ada’s. My fellow travelers guided us in the correct path as usual. The stop is totally worth it for the breakfast. eggs that are perfectly done! Fantastic coffee Not to be overlooked is the service itself! amiable, prompt, and effective. Although it was a bit too cold to sit outside, the food was very great!

Excellent service and food in a little diner. On weekdays, it gets very busy from 12 to 1. However, if you can eat lunch later or earlier, you can skip the wait and enjoy a more sedate dining experience. I have only eaten there very early, so there may be a breakfast rush as well, but so yet, no problems.
It’s true that it’s not really designed for big parties or families with young kids.

We were informed there would be a 45-minute wait when we arrived on Sunday morning just before 11 a.m. In less than sixty minutes, we were seated, served, and on our way out!
Excellent staff service and friendliness!
When I ordered the Benedict, I was pleasantly surprised by how light the hollandaise sauce was. incredibly simple to digest and smooth!
All in all, it was a fantastic first experience; breakfast was a touch pricy, but you definitely get what you paid for! Would unquestionably advise:)

Asked my daughter where in the Glèbe was the greatest location to get breakfast. We had dinner at Wilf and Ada’s, and it was excellent. On a gorgeous morning with lots of sunshine, we were sitting outside sipping black coffee. Nothing special thus far. My decision to order the Blackstone Benny set off a series of events for breakfast that will go down in history as some of the best of my life. The hollandaise sauce with a sprinkle of chives had the ideal texture and flavor to cover an egg that had been stolen by a legendary deity who had the ability to sense when the yolk was still liquid but the white was set. Beneath the egg, there was a piece of Ramiro that had the flavor of freshly cut tomato that was still attached to the vine along with a chunk of bacon that …. Well what can you say about bacon, it’s just good. 5 stars, 2 thumbs up. Also get a side of baked beans too they are fantastic
